OSRT Membership

What is the Purpose of OSRT? 

To advance the science and professionalism of radiologic technology, to assist in establishing and maintaining high standards of education and training, to elevate the quality of patient care, and to improve the welfare of radiologic technologists.

What Can OSRT do for You?

  • OSRT provides continuing education through the Annual Meeting each April, various District meetings, and special seminars. Registration fees are lower for OSRT members.
  • OSRT maintains high standards for education programs and works with the Oregon Board of Radiologic Technology in coordinating programs that will meet requirements of the licensing board.
  • OSRT membership includes subscription to the SKIAGRAM, the official publication of our profession in Oregon. The SKIAGRAM includes information regarding educational opportunities, legislative issues affecting our profession, etc.
  • OSRT membership provides opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with other members of your profession.
  • Membership in OSRT provides the opportunity to hear from and be heard by other medical professionals, which may influence the profession of radiologic technology.

OSRT Levels of Membership

  • Voting Member: certified by the ARRT or it’s equivalent and holding an unrestricted license under state statute; may vote and hold office within the OSRT
  • Non-Voting Member: members interested in promoting the purposes and functions of the OSRT but do not meet the qualifications of voting members; Limited Permit holders, Honorary members, supporting members, and retired members; may not vote or hold office within the OSRT
  • Student Member: members currently enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Science Program; may not vote or hold office within the OSRT
